To mark this 90th anniversary, Cuatro Rayas has selected a collection of historical and contemporary images that reflect representative moments from these nine decades of passion for vineyards and wine.
This Friday, the opening of the photographic exhibition was held, attended by Clara Eufemia Rivera, mayor of La Seca, and Ignacio Martín Obregón, president of Bodega Cuatro Rayas. They visited, together with cooperative wine-growing members and local residents—who this weekend are celebrating their popular Verdejo Festival—this visual journey through the evolution of the ways of working with, seeing, and feeling wine and the vine from 1935 to the present day.
The exhibition is located in the room that houses the historic barrels where one of the winery’s most characteristic and renowned creations, ‘61’ Dorado en Rama, is aged, and it can be visited as a complement to the wine tourism activities offered by the winery.

Bodega Cuatro Rayas was founded in 1935 under the name “Bodega Cooperativa de La Seca” as a way to optimize the profits obtained from winemaking by local growers through the joint efforts of the town’s residents
This collaborative spirit, together with the legacy of three generations of families passionate about wine, vines, and the Verdejo grape variety, continues today—90 years later—to give meaning and identity to a cooperative winery that stands out for its leadership in producing high-quality white wines under the Rueda designation of origin.
