The cooperative from the Rueda D.O. has obtained the Sustainable Wineries for Climate Protection seal, calculated its carbon footprint, renewed its ISO 14001 certification, and drafted its 2023 sustainability report, further consolidating its environmental and social commitment.
La Seca, Valladolid, Spain – January 21, 2025. Bodega Cuatro Rayas begins the new year by reinforcing its commitment to sustainability within the wine sector. Among its most recent milestones is the attainment of the Sustainable Wineries for Climate Protection (SWfCP) certification, a distinction that validates its performance in areas such as environmental protection, social responsibility, good governance, and economic management. The latter is especially noteworthy, as the cooperative achieved a perfect score—100 out of 100—thanks to its collaboration with industry partners to promote innovation, implement new technologies, and minimize economic risks.
La bodega, además, ha completado el cálculo de su huella de carbono para los ejercicios de 2022 y 2023, reflejando su compromiso con la reducción de emisiones y el respeto al medioambiente. Cabe mencionar que los datos de ambos años serán publicados próximamente en la web del Ministerio para la Transición Ecológica y el Reto Demográfico, mostrando así su apuesta por la transparencia y la responsabilidad climática.
