La Seca, 10 March 2022.- Bodega Cuatro Rayas’ wines continue to harvest awards for their quality at international competitions, as attested by the eleven Gold medals several of the cooperative winery brands received in two renowned German competitions: ‘Mundus Vini Spring 2022’ and ‘Berliner Wine Trophy Winter 2022’.
In addition to the significant amount of Cuatro Rayas’ Verdejo varietals awarded in those competitions, it is worth noting the two new Golds added to the brilliant list of prizes of ‘61’ Dorado en Rama – a premium vintageless wine made combining equal parts of Verdejo grapes, the most distinctive in the Designation of Origin Rueda, and Palomino Fino, a variety doomed to disappear since its cultivation is forbidden. Still, the cooperative takes good care of its remaining century-old vines, intending to continue producing the original wines of the area.
