Vinous reviews six Bodega Cuatro Rayas wines with scores equal or higher than 90

La Seca, 25 June 2025.- The renowned American publication Vinous includes in its online edition a new article on the Duero region in which the Argentinean journalist and sommelier Joaquín Hidalgo evaluates wine projects and wines from the areas of Toro, Ribera del Duero and Rueda. The content is accompanied by reviews of some of the wines from these areas, including up to six wines from the Bodega Cuatro Rayas cooperative, all of them with outstanding scores of over V90.

About the *Gran Vino de Rueda Cuarenta Vendimias Cuvée 2023*, Hidalgo points out that “the palate is grippy, tense and powerful, offering concentration and a satisfying chalky finish”, and gives it V95, Cuatro Rayas’ highest rating in this content.

*Cuatro Rayas Longverdejo 2023 – Gran Vino de Rueda*, in turn, reaches V94 and is described as “an intense, structured white”.

The fortified *‘61’ Dorado en Rama NV* gets V94 and is described as “dry and enveloping, it delivers a focused expression with delicate saffron and a subtle umami touch”.

The aromatic profile of *Amador Diez Verdejo Cuvée 2020 – Gran Vino de Rueda*, the most exclusive production of Bodega Cuatro Rayas, is described in Vinous with notes of “wild herbs, subtle oak and pear open on the nose” and gets V93.

*Cuatro Rayas Viñedos Centenarios 2024* is also rated with V93 and they comment that “the palate is rich, with medium freshness and concentration, showing grip and tensión”.

Cuarenta Vendimias Verdejo 2024, finally, is rated V90 and Hidalgo highlights its “aromas of green apple and light pastry note from its lees contact”.
