Ignacio Martín Obregón, president of the cooperative winery, received the trophy at the 20th edition of the awards ceremony organised by the Castilla y León Regional Government to help promote and strengthen the region’s wine sector.
Segovia. June, 17th 2025.- In the year of its 90th anniversary, the Valladolid cooperative Bodega Cuatro Rayas receives the Zarcillo de Honor for demographic dynamisation, an award that recognises the ‘exemplary career and outstanding contribution to the wine sector and the rural environment of Castilla y León’ of the winery based in La Seca throughout its history and at present.
This award, granted by the Castilla y León Regional Government, is of particular significance for the winery’s winegrowing members and employees because it sums up what has driven the cooperative since its beginnings: to be a driving force for improving the quality of life of those who live in its environment, guaranteeing generational renewal in rural areas and promoting the well-being of the natural environment in which it carries out its activities.
