Benjamín sigue el juego preguntando a Borja por el ascenso a Primera: “El de Mendilibar salió casi todo perfecto, y fue muy bonito, pero el del año pasado a nivel personal es casi mejor”, responde Borja a bote pronto, que no se corta un pelo a la hora de hablar de sus diferentes ‘looks’: “Me fui a hacer mechitas y se confundieron con el tinte y me pusieron naranja”.

En cuanto a la afición, reconoce el cariño que el club genera en la ciudad. “En Valladolid todo el mundo es del Pucela. Es como su niño mimado a quien todo el mundo quiere”, comenta Borja, que hace repaso de todos los exjugadores del Real Valladolid que se establecieron en la ciudad: “pasa también con Marcos, Víctor, García Calvo, Álvaro, yo… no somos de Valladolid ninguno y todos estamos muy identificados. Toda la gente está entregadísima, llevan al club dentro, y no son de aquí”.
